Lydia is turning 2 in two weeks - June 14!
Last year for her birthday we hosted a blanket drive to donate to Children's Mercy Hospital. It was a huge success! I'm still overwhelmed by the generosity. This year we're collecting snacks for the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Children's Mercy Hospital.
During Lydia's 6 surgeries, we've waited in the Family Room each time. It's a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital for families to rest. During Lydia's 3 months in the hospital we made several trips, almost daily, to the Family Room. They provide coffee, snacks, lunch and dinners to families with kids in the hospital.
If you would like to contribute, please bring store-bought individually wrapped snacks to one of us at work or home.
Dan is in Corporate Woods near College and Antioch.
Kinsley is at the library on 87th Street in OPKS.
Marcia (my mom!) is at Crown Center, near downtown.
