The Tooth Fairy Found Us!

Lydia lost her two bottom front teeth in less than one week's time!  

The first one was at Grandma and Grandpa's, she says it was the crispy french fries fault.  

The other outside playing with Dad, she asked for a kleenex and may have given it a little yank herself.

Our Tooth Fairy is super cool, leaving origami dollar bills.  

The first was a heart, the second was a butterfly. 

 

The Non-Anxious Parts of Spring

In between sinus infections we had a pretty fun and low key end of March and April.  

There were a few anxious moments but I'll save that for another post.

I surprised Lydia with a class at Tastebuds Kitchen, she was excited to be a walker that day and not go to Y-Care.  We made twist and twirl cookies and ate 2 before we got home!

Dan and Lydia were on the hunt for good mac and cheese one Friday night during Lent.  They tried out the Cracker Barrel.  Lydia said, "mom would love this place!"  Mom does love that place!

Grandma and Grandpa have us over for a Friday night shrimp dinner every year during Lent.  

Lydia decided this was a ver dress up occasion!  

She was also Star of the Week, finally!  She create a very cool poster to present to the class. 

The weather was fickle so we made the best of the indoors and our board games.

Easter!  We colored Easter eggs and Lydia hunted for a ton in her fancy frills and polka dots.

The style game with this child.  She's got it!

 

Yes Day!

When the BVSD lifted the mask mandate we weren't ready for Lydia to remove hers yet.  Most kids and teachers did, so how do you get a 6 yo to keep one on?  Strike a deal.  A yes day!  Lydia wore her mask every day after the mandate was lifted up until Spring Break and she earned her yes day.  The community numbers dropped to 3% so we celebrated.  We broke it up over a couple of days and that was acceptable for the winner.  So, what did she pick?
