Every little sniffle, every little cough - is it the flu? (And I wrote this before COVID-19)

It was not the flu, thank goodness.
I really think Lydia had the flu in November when she was out with fevers and lethargy for a week.  She most certainly gets her flu shot but still seems to get it every year.

This time, not the flu.
Fever stayed very mild and the cough was only at night time.  We kept her home one day longer than was probably necessary but I'd rather she rest.

Also, I left town for a week to attend a conference and I didn't want to leave a germ ball that needed to skip school with Dad and Grandma.  They need to work too!

We watched a lot of Lego Movie 1 and 2.  We watched a lot of Frozen 1 and 2.  We watched Toy Story - only Toy Story 2.  Lydia wore her Elsa and Jessie outfits and we were able to play outside Sunday for some fresh air.  It was good to have the extra snuggles, too.

Superbowl Weekend in STL

We celebrated Elena's birthday in St. Charles with a party, basketball, soccer and ear piercing!

Lydia was the trash picker upper and Jillian was the trash collector.
Funny how Leah got them to do all the work!

Cake and ice cream with all the kids!

Lydia doesn't need vacation destinations, she is perfectly thrilled by a hotel room!

Superbowl Dance Party at Uncle Tony and Aunt NeNe's!

We make Snow Women

Snow Day at home with Mommy!

We were so pumped to shovel
(and throw snow on Lydia while she was laying face down),

have a snow ball fight
(which was really Lydia counting to 3, running across the driveway and
nailing the back of my knees with chunks of snow from my shoveling),

make snow angels
(#nailedit),

and create Queen Elsa of Arendelle out of snow
(with branches for arms, m&m eyes, goldfish nose,
lipstick mouth, and food coloring hair and cape).

Inside Out: Lydia's Version

Anxiety - yep, about most things. Envy - uh huh, and wondering why she's different. (scars, treatments, growth hormone shots, CPAP, IE...
